A very warm welcome to Wren and Robin Class
We are so incredibly proud of how well the Reception children have settled in to school. They have already stayed for lunch! They are busy learning the new routines and we have got stuck in to teaching Phonics. The children have met ‘Fred the Frog’ who is going to help us with our ‘Fred Talking’.
We have learned some new songs, the good morning song, the days of the week song and the goodbye song.
They have enjoyed exploring their new environments inside and out. Please check your child’s Tapestry account for regular updates. Please ensure that you can access your child’s account. If you cannot please come and see me and we can sort a log in for you.
Wren class will be doing Forest School every Tuesday afternoon. PE days are Thursday and Friday, the children will need to wear their PE kits to school on these days. Topic webs will be coming home shortly along with vocabulary mats ,which are based on the book that we are learning about at the time. You will see that the first book we will cover is ‘Owl Babies.’
